11/9/2007 Saw on TV

Television commercials in east Tennessee are different from those anywhere else. I saw this commercial this morning about a going-out-of-business sale at a furniture shop in Sevierville. The song accompanying this was like the theme to Gilligan's Island, except for the chorus; instead of "THREE HOUR TOUR, A THREE HOUR TOUR" the commercial song says; "FURNITURE TO BURN, WE HAVE FURNITURE TO BURN". The guy in the commercial was dressed up crazy and speaking in an unrecognizable accent. He was wearing a Baha which initially led me to believe he was impersonating a Mexican, but then he has a lovely, long red wig on and a fedora style hat.
