3/27/2008 I'll Buy It

Have you ever noticed how on TV commercials, whenever a man is placing a ring on a woman’s finger, the ring is gigantic. It’s as if he is putting a shower curtain ring on her. Then she smiles and holds her pose as the camera pans out to a panoramic view of the smokies.
Also whenever someone on TV is eating something they take a huge bite, then chew once or twice, and suddenly they are chatting or singing or something. And TV coffee: the people smell the steamy aroma of the obviously boiling hot coffee, then take a sip, but don’t swallow. Then straight into a monologue. If a normal person sipped that cup of coffee they would have second degree burns on their mouth, then swallowing would take lots longer and there would be beads of sweat and tears, and a runny nose. And swearing.
If advertisements were a little funnier I would be more likely to buy into their wares.
